Complaining Blocks the Open Door
By Prophetess LaShaundra Christmas
There are some doors that aren’t shut — they’re blocked.
Not by the enemy.
Not by delay.
But by a complaining spirit.
Sometimes we stand before an open door and wonder why we can’t seem to walk through it. We pray, we decree, we fast — but still, nothing seems to move. Yet heaven says, “The door was never closed; your complaining built a wall in front of it.”
Complaining is more than negative talk — it’s a posture of mistrust. It subtly says to God, “I don’t like how You’re doing this.” But faith says, “Even when I don’t understand, I trust Your process.” When we complain, we align our mouths with delay, frustration, and doubt. But when we praise and give thanks, we align with divine movement.
This is a season of open doors, but not every believer will walk through them. Only those whose hearts and mouths agree with heaven will see the full manifestation.
“Gratitude clears what complaint has cluttered, making way for what God already opened.”
At Rising Ground, we are learning to rise above the emotions that keep us stuck. We choose worship over worry, gratitude over grumbling, and faith over frustration. Because the truth is — complaining keeps you on the same level, but thanksgiving lifts you higher.
🌿 Prophetic Declaration
I break agreement with the spirit of complaint and step into a posture of gratitude.
My words create access to what God has already opened.
I will not speak delay over my destiny.
I will rise with thanksgiving, walk through every open door, and see the goodness of the Lord manifest in my life.
It’s time to clear the blockage and move forward.
The door is open — just stop complaining long enough to walk through it.
